What to Expect at Yoga
At Buffalo Gap our yoga classes are well-rounded, classically-rooted,
and safe for all bodies. Our instructor, Crystal Woodling, has nearly
20 years of experience teaching all ages and body types in Classical
Hatha, Vinyasa, Bikram, Yin, and Kundalini yoga. She blends these
styles in her classes, leaving plenty of room for adaptability and
modifications for varying levels of strength and mobility.
In our Saturday (2pm) classes you can expect:
* long-hold static postures, which build bone and tendon strength and
intelligent, well-enervated muscle and provide you a beautiful
opportunity to ground your body while stilling and centering your
mind.
* kriyas, which are sets of repetitive, meditative movements that
flush toxins, build endurance, balance hormones, and clear energetic
blockages and stagnancy.
* breath aligned flowing sequences, which build cardiovascular
strength, calm your mind, and ensure peak mobility as you age.
*opening and closing breathwork (pranayama) and meditation
Classes are 75 minutes

Sunday Morning Qi Gong (10am)
Our morning Qi Gong class is a meditative practice that utilizes standing postures and fluid movements to active and nourish our vital life-force energy, strengthen and tone our tendons and ligaments, and clear stuck energy in our vessels and meridians.

This practice nourishes the whole body and balances our mind/body/spirit so that we can feel grounded, clear, and energized throughout our day.

Qi Gong is proven to help us age with more grace and heal many health conditions.

Come join Matthew Merlin, an experienced and dedicated Medical Qi Gong practitioner and Dragon Gate Sect initiate, for a form that he's bringing us straight from the Five Immortals Temp in the Wu Dang Mountains of China.
