Cook / Sous Chef

Seeking a cook or sous chef who would like to work in a friendly and collaborative environment. This employee will be involved in all aspects of food planning, preparation, and cooking in our commercial kitchen. This role involves creating menus for our weekend cafe and catering events, taking into consideration factors such as costs and dietary needs. This person will also assist with planning, inventory tracking, and purchasing. Must observe all policies and procedures of safety and sanitation according to OSHA and health code standards.

Compensation based on experience.

Tip pooling between front and back of house.

On-site housing available as part of compensation agreement.

 

Camp Staff (Housekeeping, Cafe, Groundskeeping, and/or Maintenance...)

We are looking for assistance with: housekeeping, meal preparation & service, groundskeeping, maintenance, laundry, office & store assistance, guest relations, and event preparation. Scope of duties and responsibilities will depend upon the candidate’s skills, capability, and interest. Prior experience is a plus, but not a requirement. Ideal candidates are looking to learn and gain experience within the hospitality industry. Planned summer events for which we will need help include: weddings, yoga retreats, dance weekends, etc.

Weekly hours are variable, depending on retreat occupancy and event scheduling.

Massage Therapist

WV Licensed Massage Therapist to work at our Spa as an independent contractor. 

Compensation commensurate with experience.
 

Camp Host / Work Camper

Seeking Camp Host / Work Camper for our 2024 season (April - November). Part time effort of 20 hours per week. Typical duties include campground oversight, guest relations, housekeeping, groundskeeping, and light maintenance. In exchange, Camp Hosts will be provided an RV or camper site with access to a full bathroom, kitchen, washer/dryer, and internet. Recreational access to property and amenities is available as schedule and retreat occupancy allows. 

 

Up to 20 additional paid hours per week may be available based on experience and scope of duties.

 

General Information:

Our ideal candidate is someone who:

• is dependable and hardworking

• has a cheerful, outgoing, and customer service oriented personality

• is in good physical condition with the ability to lift 30 lbs

• has reliable transportation

• is local, or able and willing to live on-site

• has relevant skills/prior experience, but above all a willingness to learn and contribute to a successful season

• is able to spend all, or most of, the season with us
