Buffalo Gap Retreat will be hosting a variety of events this

upcoming season - we can host your events too!

(3 stages -- Lakeview Dining Hall, Pavilion, Gymnasium (separate 501c3))

Seeking Musicians & Workshop Teachers / Hosts & Artists

Buffalo Gap is seeking musicians to play at our Lakeview Dining Hall stage on select Friday or Saturday evening from late April thru late October each year.
All genres of music welcome: Country, Bluegrass, World Music, Old Time, Modern Rock, Alternative, Classic Rock, Jazz, Classical, Solo, Singer-Songwriter, Reggae...

What We Can Offer You in Exchange:

If you play for us for free -- we can offer you possibly free camping or free lodging for the night or weekend and possibly some comped foods from our new Cafe...
If you require risk-reward payment -- we can offer you all "gate fees" for entrance to the concert in the lakeview dining hall -- risk is low attendance, reward is high attendance. Further, can negotiate free camping or lodging for the night or weekend.
If you require a set minimum fee, we can still begin with offering you "gate fees" and we can collaborate on marketing to bring the largest possible crowd for maximum money as well as meet your minimum fee requirements if agreed upon. If some of that can be offset by offering the band / families free camping or lodging for the night or weekend, we can work something out.
If you wish to be a regular, and play for us on a recurring basis in our lakeview dining hall stage on a Thursday / Friday / or Saturday monthly, we can also likely work something out that works well for both parties.

What To Expect this Season:

Dinner Concert Series -- musical happenings many Friday and Saturdays from 7pm to 9pm / 10pm -- family friendly, arrive early enjoy the beach area and a cook out or bon-fire.
May have some Thursday musical events as well during high season.
Festivals on occasion -- check our events page for details. On festival weekends, general airbnb cottage and campground booking will be blocked off and attendees will go through the event host for attending.
Workshops -- such as for yoga, meditation, health and fitness or other. Check our Events / Concerts page for details.
Retreats -- Buffalo Gap may host some of it's own private retreats on occasion or play host to private retreats -- again -- check our Events / Concerts page for details and registration information.

Facilities:

(1) 3200 square foot lake view dining hall stage -- environment includes concession bar / cafe, tables to seat 150+, lake view, outside bon-fire pit and mini pavilion and connected 1200 square foot commercial kitchen. Beer and Wine sales anticipated to be coming soon! Nice lighting, robust house sound system included.
(2) 3,600 square foot covered pavilion (appalachian style). Can seat hundreds, nice lighting, 200 amp power service robust house sound system included.
(3) 10,000 square foot gymnasium and stage -- owned and operated by a separate non-profit / 501-c3 Arts and Charity organization! Will include stage, robust house sound system if needed, and vast indoor space for entertaining and dancing -- all under the 501c3 Buffalo Gap Arts and Culture charitable organization.
